F.U. Origin: Gunnery Sergeant Helen Booth Call Sign “Needle” A.K.A. Mom
During the war, nicknames were given to almost all of the profession within the ranks: Pilots were called Bus Drivers, Assault Troops were called Drop Squads and Scout Snipers were called “Needles” because of their ability to put their bullets on target no matter how far or how small they are. The ones who survived the war tend to just blend back into civilian life, rarely talk about their past, Helen Booth is one of them, she ended up marrying a bus driver, and helped raised two fur balls into big fur balls while making donuts.
